He cracks me up...

Me: Stop tormenting Abigail's dolls

S: It's fun

Me: But, it's not nice

S: It's funny to put them in handcuffs

Me: It's still not a nice thing to do and it's upsetting your sister

S: Well, you don't know what it's like to be a BOY!

Friday, February 18

1st Oral Presentation

Samuel had his first oral presentation this week. The kids had to choose a Famous Black American. Samuel chose to speak about Jackie Robinson, who was the first African American baseball player.

Each student is required to stand infront of the class and speak for 2-3 minutes and prepare 6 questions to ask the class about their presentation. We are so proud of him....his overall grade was M=Meets which is the highest score possible.

Valentine's Day

On the menu:

Grilled steaks

Asparagus (for T&H)

Broccoli (for S&A)

Salad

Bread (with a heart, of course)

Dessert: Heart shaped fruit pastry

Drinks: Sparkling apple cider (for T,S&A)

Wine (for me!)

Candlelite per the kids request. They also set the table and folded the napkins fancy nancy style!

Sunday, February 13

Dentist

The kids both had dentist appointments today after school. Samuel has lost a total of 8 teeth which is right on track for his age and should not lose anymore until he's around 9 years old. Abigail asked Dr. Val if she had any wiggly teeth, thank goodness she didn't! I also mentioned that Abby still sucks her thumb. She said she would have never known had I not told her. S&A got great reports!

One Little Monkey Jumping On The Bed.....

While Tom and Samuel were at the batting cage, we had a little photo session. She was certainly full of energy this morning and said several times, "mommy, my heart is beeping, I need to take a rest." ha, so cute!
