What are we going to do with you, Sammy Sam?

Today, March 27th when I picked you up from school your teacher Ms. Alisha said she had something to tell me. Oh no, what have you done now?? Apparently, when your class was out on the playground your teachers looked over and saw you with your pants down PEEING on the sidewalk! When they asked you why you did it, you said "I had to go pee pee and my daddy lets me do it."
A few months back you told Ms. Elaine (your head teacher) that you were going to super glue her mouth shut! I wonder what you will do next! One things for sure...there's never a dull moment with you around!!!

The Bug Party was a success!

High 70's on Wednesday, 3-4 inches of snow on Friday and COLD on Saturday!! One thing's for sure...you never know what the weather will be like in March.
Your "Bug" party was a success! Guest started arriving at 3...you guys played, decorated caterpillars, played pin the spider on the web, had cake & ice cream. You guys ran around like crazy monkey's until your party ended around 5:30.
Mommy, Daddy, Abigail, Grandma'ma, Papa, Aunt Ansleigh, Olivia, Uncle Alexander, Aunt Teresa, Jac, Colm, Memaw, Pepaw, Uncle Bill, Aunt Chris, Andrew, Kelly, Ms. Stephanie, Hannah, Ashley, Jacob, Ms. Jen, Alexa, Ms. Amy, Andrew, Ms. Kerry, Quinn, Ms. Trace-Ann, Olivia, all helped you celebrate your birthday!
Your cake was absolutely adorable and yummy...Ms. Pat, once again, did a fabulous job. You were given so many nice gifts- there wasn't a single one that you didn't like!
This year I think you were a little embarrassed when everyone sang happy birthday to you..you just stared at everyone with a grin on your face hitting your bottom lip with your pointer finger making a funny noise.
Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!!:-)

Thursday, March 15

Happy 4th Birthday to Samuel!

Happy Birthday to you...Happy Birthday to you...and many more!!!
This year your birthday was on a Wednesday. You woke mommy up this morning by saying "mommy, guess what today is....it's my birthday and I'm four" then you ran to your room and asked me to measure you to see if you had grown. You are too cute. You opened presents from Mommy (Mightly Max) & Abigail (Giggling Troublesome trucks)- trains of course!
We started your birthday celebration by meeting Grandma'ma, Aunt Ansleigh & Olivia (who gave you 3 take along trains) at Tyson's mall around 10:45. We had lunch and went to the Lego store. You got your first small legos- after the mall we went to a playground in Mclean called Clemyjontri park. Everyone had such a good time- we played and ate cupcakes. It was a beautiful day, high 70's!
When daddy arrived home from work, you were so excited. You had been waiting ALL day to open the rest of your presents. You opened, big legos, a leapster & games, baseball bat & ball and daddy gave you battery powered Salty. When asked what your favorite present was you responded "everything, I have had a great day." We ended your BIRTH day by eating cake and ice cream.
Happy birthday big boy. We can't wait to celebrate more birthday's with you. Your "bug" party is on Saturday the 17th.

And she's off....

Abigail has officially started crawling and pulling up on everything. Before Saturday, she could pull herself up in her crib and crawl like a soldier bellying through the brush. She can now...pull up on the couch, coffee table, her bookshelf, walker, pretty much anywhere her little heart desires. Now, when she crawls, she can stay up on all fours for a longer period of time. I'm sure over the next few weeks she will figure out how to follow me from room to room to room. OH- and she puts any and everything in her mouth!!! It's baby proofing time!

We had a scare on Friday- Abigail pulled the bow she was wearing out of her hair while riding in the car. I wasn't aware of this until I was getting ready to nurse her after we got home...she started making gagging & choking noises so I immediately looked in her mouth and saw that her bow was wedged in the top of her mouth. I am so thankful I didn't come home and put her straight to bed like I usually do...for some reason I decided to nurse her. I think someone was watching over us! ;-) So, from now on Little Miss Abby will no longer wear bows unless she is supervised 100% of the time!
We had another incident on Monday. I was checking e-mail and Samuel called out..."mommy, Abigail has something in her mouth that shouldn't be in there" I ran to the family room and discovered she had a dried flower in her mouth that had fallen out of a box! Thank goodness, Samuel was looking out for his little sister! He got a lollypop for being such a good big brother!

Today after church, we went to the mall to have Abigail's feet measured. She is a size 2.5 and is following in Samuel's footsteps with a really WIDE & thick foot!

I think that's it for now...I'm sure I will have more stories as the week unfolds!

Until next time...
