What a season, it's hard to believe it's over! Football and cheerleading have been a huge part of our lives since August. It seems like just yesterday that we were out in the 100 degree heat five nights a week, once school started it was only 3 nights, but still a huge commitment. Although the Championship game did not end in our favor, the boys played one of the best games of the season. The Bearcats defeated the Blue Devils 12-8. The game was played on the field at Broad Run High School with an announcer. What a great experience it was for everyone. I have no idea what we are going to do with all of our free time now! We may actually be able to schedule play dates and enjoy some time at home without rushing in and out.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the game....
Samuel running out on the field as his name is being announced.....
Go #45
Abigail cheering on the sidelines...
Awesome blocking #45!
They had their own little cheer section in the bleachers! (Grandma'ma and Papa, Pepaw, Aunt Ansleigh, Uncle Jonathon, Wells, Lawton and Olivia and the Law family-Monica, TJ, Griffin and Reese) It meant so much to us to have our family and friends come out to support Samuel and Abigail's team!! We are so blessed!
The Riddle's sent a sweet email from Georgia....
Good Luck in tomorrow's game Samuel!!! We will be pulling for your team and know that you'll do awesome!! Can't wait to see you and Abby at the beach soon!!! We love YOU!!! William, Jackson, Jake, Uncle Harold and Aunt Marget
After the game we looked over and saw these two hugging.....such a sweet moment!
After the game we went to Coach Jim's house for the end of year celebration......(as if we hadn't already had a jammed packed day) and from the party we met Ansleigh and Olivia at 3801 and headed to the beach for THANKSGIVING!!
